Overview

We are a leading group of software development companies that partners with global clients across various industries and possess a strong and growing presence in APAC. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department and enhance our operation. As a Legal Counsel, you will report to the APAC Legal Manager and take on diverse legal tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial agreements, including NDAs, service contracts, and standard templates, with strong attention to detail.
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to business units under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the identification of legal risks and assist in proposing practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Assist with corporate governance and compliance matters, including document preparation and company secretarial support.
  • Support licensing and regulatory matters, including assisting in the preparation of applications for licenses, certificates, and permits, as well as amendments or renewals thereof, under guidance from APAC Legal Manager.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and relevant authorities by preparing documents, tracking progress, and supporting information requests.
  • Conduct legal research and assist in preparing internal legal guidance notes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of legal templates, internal policies, and compliance checklists.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by APAC Legal Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law (Ho Chi Minh University of Law or University of Economics and Law).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team of an international company.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and corporate governance.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to identify issues and risks in complex documents.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability in legal work.
