Overview

As an L&D Specialist, you will be a key member of the Learning and Development (L&D) Team and have a hands-on role in organizing various training activities and supporting our employees through learning and development opportunities, helping to cultivate a learning culture in the company.

 

Location: HCMC, Vietnam

Reports to: L&D Director APAC

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU DO

1. Company Learning and Development (L&D) Programs

  • Be in charge of scheduling the Monthly Learning Plan
  • Work with internal trainers to prepare Course Information and send the announcement for registration
  • Send Comms/ promotion post every week to achieve high registration/attendance rate
  • Monitor the operations of learning courses
  • Monitor and consult Junior L&D on the end-to-end process to be smooth and sufficient
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to regularly update materials

2. Certification Plan

  • Facilitate the Administration Process: register exams, reimburse if needed with the Finance-Admin Department
  • Manage the certification list
  • Export the Certification list per Department's request

3. eLearning Platform Tracking (Udemy, Pluralsight)

  • Work in collaboration with Department Heads/ Line Managers to design learning curriculums
  • Allocate learning accounts and keep track of learning status
  • Prepare Monthly Reports and on-demand Reports

4. L&D Projects

  • Participate in L&D Projects and assist the team in implementing the plans

5. Training Events:

  • Assist other L&D team's events

6. Team Management

  • Assist and supervise junior team members.
  • Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular training, and coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans.

7. Training Reports: Be in charge or assist in different kinds of reports

  • Weekly Training Reports
  • Monthly Training Reports
  • On-demand Reports

8. ISO 27001 Alignment:

  • Participate in ISMS implementation
  • Perform monthly permission and asset availability review

9. Continuous improvement:

  • Obtain and convey feedback while contributing ideas to improve the current processes and policies
  • Maintaining current knowledge of L&D innovation, best practices, and future trends

Qualifications

WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Relevant Professional Certification/s is highly an advantage

Experience:

  • at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in L&D. (IT/software industry is a plus).

Skills:

  • Relevant knowledge of L&D Concepts and skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Adult Learning Cycle
  • TNA, Content Design & Development, Training Implementation & Evaluation
  • Familiarity with internal learning communication strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Can speak English fluently (minimum B2+ level above) and possess good English business writing skills
  • Willingness to coach, mentor and train less senior colleagues
  • A positive attitude, sociable and dynamic personality, responsible, well-organized, cooperative, flexible, hard-working, willing to learn continuously;
  • Awareness of ISO:27001 standard and understanding of CBTW APAC ISMS through internal/ external training courses (awareness training & refresh training).
