About CBTW (Manila Finance Team)

The CBTW Manila office supports global and regional operations by delivering high-quality finance, accounting, administrative, and business services. The Finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring strong financial governance, compliance with international standards, and timely reporting across our global network.

As part of a growing organization, the Manila Finance team collaborates closely with regional leaders, auditors, business units, and shared services to support business performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions in the general ledger with accuracy and completeness.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, reimbursements, payments, and collections.
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, local tax regulations, and CBTW internal control policies.
  • Prepare and file tax documents while ensuring compliance with local and national laws.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist in improving accounting policies, workflows, and internal controls to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare financial reports, analysis, and documentation to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or general accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software; experience with ERP or NAV Dynamics is an advantage.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Experience or exposure to SSS, PHIC, and HDMF online reporting is a plus.
