Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the overall process for building reports 
  • Idea to Live steps 
  • Process documentation 
  • Liaising with stakeholders 
  • Work with PM & PDs to understand customer need & define report goal 
  • Analytics PM/PD 
  • Domain PM/PD 
  • Able to translate report goals into the appropriate data visualisations, while understanding the constraints of our reporting tool Sigma as well as how data should be structured including UI/UX implications for building reports in Sigma 
  • Work with Domain experts to extract and document any domain logic or metrics needed for the datasets & reports 
  • Work with Data Platform Engineering to design datasets 
  • Test for data accuracy and validation in datasets & reports 
  • Become a Sigma expert 
  • Building reports 
  • Creating datasets 
  • Deploying changes 

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst working in a cross functional agile product team 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process 
  • Experience in documenting user and market requirements in the form of user stories 
  • Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation 
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and nontechnical people alike. 
  • Excellent listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely manner. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing, collaborative team member. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill including ability to produce high quality documentation and write customer communications 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Visio, PPT, Excel and Word Experience in Jira and Confluence (preferred but not essential)
