• The Senior Engineer - PHP is an experienced, technically competent individual contributor responsible for developing high-quality software solutions using our core PHP Symfony platform. This role leads technical initiatives and supports our application, championing Continuous Delivery practices and modern, collaborative engineering approaches to drive best-in-class outcomes.
• You will actively collaborate with engineers, product owners, business analysts, and designers to deliver exceptional, data-driven solutions
• Additionally, you'll help influence engineering best practices and work closely with the Engineering Team Lead to execute the roadmap and uplift the application over time.
• This role involves ownership of the technical solution and software design, supporting team delivery goals, and helping build the right technology platform.
• You will also lead and inspire your team during tech huddles and retrospectives, promoting knowledge-sharing and modern engineering practices

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Expertise in PHP, with experience in modern PHP frameworks (Symfony highly desirable)

• Knowledge of automated testing and mocking frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Cypress)

• Familiarity with automation build tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming

• Basic knowledge of Docker

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira)

• Proficient in English communication

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with frontend tools like TypeScript and React

• Basic knowledge of Go (GoLang)
