Role Scope Summary

The Salesforce QA role exists to:

  • Ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications and integrations through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and document defects.
  • Collaborate with developers and functional consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable Salesforce solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • Proficient in verbal and written English.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Salesforce applications.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Salesforce testing frameworks).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and development concepts.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on quality.

  • Ability to live the Pepperstone values.

  • Committed to ongoing learning and development.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Marketing Cloud is a bonus.

     

  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium (and similar) is a bonus.

     

  • Experience in Financial Services, CFD, and Crypto is desirable.

 

Responsibilities

We support flexible working. This position can be performed from both a mix of at our office and from home. Your manager will share details and expectations of your team’s regular cadence of working locations.

  • Design, create, and maintain comprehensive testing procedures, including detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Salesforce applications and integrations.

  • Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.

     

  • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar systems.

    Execute system, load, and integration tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and compatibility of Salesforce solutions.

     

  • Collaborate with developers and functional consultants to understand requirements and ensure defects are resolved effectively.

     

  • Participate in requirements review and design sessions to provide feedback on testability.

     

  • Automate testing processes where appropriate using testing tools and frameworks.

     

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA standards and best practices.

     

  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce features, releases, and testing methodologies.

     

  • Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders.
