Qualifications

  • University degree in IT field.
  • Scrum certificates.
  • Experience working with international clients and on/off shore working model.
  • Strong knowledge in software engineering processes.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent problem solving & communication skills.
  • Excellent customer and internal team relationship building skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, dedication, and commitment.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in a management position in an international software company, with at least 5 years of experience in managing software development teams.
  • Be happy to coach, mentor and train less senior colleagues

Responsibilities

The Development Manager position is one of the most challenging but rewarding positions in a B.O.T. You will build development teams and coach them in applying modern software engineering practices. You will also be responsible for the deliveries of frontend and backend engineers in your teams. Based on your working experience you will organize the teams and define the way or working.

What you will do

  • Builds self-organized, highly engaged and performant development teams.
  • Provides agile best practices for continuously delivering value to customers.
  • Coaches development teams in applying Scrum and DevOps.
  • Manages the employee career development.
  • Collaborates across functions including areas outside of Tech.
  • Drives and facilitates organizational changes.
  • Aligns development processes across the teams.
  • Encourages cross-team collaboration.
  • Builds a team culture of measured, continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates on delivery roadmaps with Product Managers, Solution Architects and Tech Leads to ensure the teams have clear directions and priorities.
  • Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans.

  • Raising the bar of what-good-looks-like within the Company Engineering. 
  • Design, development, and delivery of quality, maintainable backend, web applications. 
  • Creation of APIs which will be consumed both internally and externally. 
  • Involvement in data-driven product experimentation. 
  • Writing clean, scalable, testable code to support and enable the growth of the company. 
  • Participation in discussions of system architecture. 
  • Coaching and mentoring of more junior team members.
