As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will join our Software Engineering service line, where we are engineering scalable, innovative software solutions that empower and redefine industries.

What is your profile?

• Experience: 1–3 years of DevOps, Systems Administration, or similar technical experience (internships or co-op experience can apply).
• Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with version control (Git), scripting (Bash, Python), and containerization (Docker).
• Eager to Learn: Genuine interest in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and API management frameworks (such as Kong, Kong Konnect).
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills, willingness to take on new challenges and learn from senior team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some exposure to cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Any relevant certifications or coursework in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields.

What is your role? 

You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact. For the internal impact, based on your skills and time, you will be joining our internal Software Engineering community at CBTW, to share knowledge and best practices. For the client impact, tasks can vary depending on the client and the project, but as a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will mainly: 

• Support Kong Konnect Deployments: Assist in configuring and maintaining Kong Konnect setups, testing plug-ins, and implementing improvements under guidance.
• Environment Setup & Maintenance: Help set up cloud environments, containers, and CI/CD pipelines, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard DevOps tools.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Support the monitoring and logging frameworks, learning to identify performance issues and participate in incident response.
• Automation & Scripting: Contribute to scripts that automate repetitive tasks and enhance deployments, adopting best practices from senior engineers.
• Learning & Development: Keep up-to-date with emerging DevOps tools, practices, and cloud technologies, sharing findings with the team.
