Collaboration Betters The World (CBTW), is a company providing tech et business solutions to its clients, through the expertise of its 9 service lines.  

As a Medior DevOps Engineer, you will join our Software Engineering service line, where we are engineering scalable, innovative software solutions that empower and redefine industries.

Qualifications

What is your profile?

You: 

  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant DevOps or SRE experience.
  • API Gateways: Exposure to Kong, Kong Konnect, or similar API management tools; understanding of micro-services architecture.
  • Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and container management systems (Kubernetes).
  • CI/CD: Knowledge of pipeline orchestration (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar) and version control (Git).
  • Automation Tools: Familiarity with Terraform, or similar tools for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic familiarity with Apigee or other API management platforms.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps, security best practices, and compliance standards.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

What is your role? 

You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact. For the internal impact, based on your skills and time, you will be joining our internal Software Engineering community at CBTW, to share knowledge and best practices. For the client impact, tasks can vary depending on the client and the project, but as a Medior DevOps Engineer, you will mainly: 

  • Kong Konnect Implementation: Assist in deploying and configuring Kong Konnect solutions, handling configuration changes, plug-in integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Help design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for consistent and automated code deployments.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes), ensuring best practices and reliability.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the senior engineer, developers, and QA teams to address API-related challenges and support various project needs.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, processes, and best practics
