Collaboration Betters The World (CBTW), is a company providing tech et business solutions to its clients, through the expertise of its 9 service lines.  

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join our Software Engineering service line, where we are engineering scalable, innovative software solutions that empower and redefine industries.

Qualifications

What is your profile?

  • Experience: 7+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, with at least 2+ years specifically in a senior or lead capacity.
  • API Management Expertise: Proven experience with Apigee at scale (deployment, policy configuration, troubleshooting) and hands-on exposure to Kong (preferably Kong Konnect).
  • Cloud & Containers: Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (preferably AWS) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS).
  • CI/CD: Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent), version control (Git), and infrastructure automation (Terraform is a plus).
  • Programming & Scripting: Fluency in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and experience writing automation scripts or custom integrations.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee and mitigate technical challenges.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills; proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Proven Experience with Apigee / WSO2 or MuleSoft
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk).
  • Relevant certifications (CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc.).

Responsibilities

What is your role? 

You will be part of a journey where you will have two impacts: a client impact and an internal impact. For the internal impact, based on your skills and time, you will be joining our internal Software Engineering community at CBTW, to share knowledge and best practices. For the client impact, tasks can vary depending on the client and the project, but as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will mainly: 

  • Kong Konnect Leadership: Architect, design, and implement Kong Konnect solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of micro-services.
  • Apigee Expertise: Provide strategic input on API management best practices, using in-depth knowledge of Apigee to advise on transitioning to and co-existence with Kong Konnect.
  • Infrastructure & Automation: Oversee the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation frameworks for continuous delivery and integration.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures, standards, and compliance regulations (e.g., OAuth, JWT, PCI, GDPR) related to APIs and DevOps processes.
  • Performance & Monitoring: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance of Kubernetes or container-based environments.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Coach and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with solution architects, software engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver robust solutions and meet client needs.
