Overview

As the first hire for our Cyber Security Service Line in APAC, you will serve as a hybrid technical expert and pre-sales consultant. You will work closely with our Sales teams to develop and promote our Cybersecurity offers (primarily around Darktrace product suite), secure new Clients, lead the implementation of our solutions and provide ongoing technical support. Your work will include engaging with customers, understanding their security needs, demonstrating the value of Cyber Security solutions, and ensuring successful implementations. This is a unique opportunity to grow and scale a new service line while collaborating closely with our existing SOC team and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Proven experience deploying and managing Darktrace solutions or similar AI-based cybersecurity tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.), firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with SOC operations, including monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting.
  • Hands-on experience conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, or other complementary security tools to enhance integration with Darktrace.

Pre-Sales Skills

  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for stakeholders and prospective clients.
  • Experience conducting demos, PoCs, and creating technical proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Strong English skills

Soft Skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building new service lines and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Darktrace-specific certifications (if available).
  • Knowledge of APAC cybersecurity regulations (e.g., PDPA, Notifiable Data Breach scheme).
  • Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Delivery & Deployment

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Darktrace Security Platform, Email Protection solutions, and other Darktrace-related suites of products.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with the SOC team to integrate Darktrace into existing security workflows and optimize threat detection capabilities.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to enhance client security postures.

Pre-Sales & Consulting

  • Partner with sales teams to identify client needs and propose tailored Darktrace solutions.
  • Conduct live demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase Darktrace capabilities.
  • Create and deliver client presentations, technical documentation, and ROI analyses to support the sales process.

Client Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and technical teams, to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for customers, addressing both technical and strategic security concerns.

Internal Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with the SOC team in the Philippines to refine service offerings and align with broader organizational goals.
  • Train junior staff and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives as the service line scales.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, Darktrace product developments, and industry best practices.
  • Liaise with our Cyber Security experts in CBTW Europe
